Why ? Why not attend a few CM concerts or buy a few tapes/CD's , listen for a while, and articulate ( if possible ) your response ?
The end of Smriti suggests that written material and essays are superflous, however there are several different written thoughts on this subject floating around everywhere, maybe even some books by AKCoomaraswamy and others, self-appointed or otherwise. Does it have to be in English ? etc. etc.
