I perfectly explained janmasthanas will vary according to the ragas and gamakas. I explained in the Bilahari raga keerthanas, different janma sthanas for the different starting notes. There are plenty of Sadhguru's keerthanas each keerthanas has it's own mettu [composition], In all the place the music composing that is the tune is render with a gamakam- then the janma sthanas will surly differ. Ahada gamaka will occur from its very next lower note, but in the same way Dalu gamaka will occur any place below the gamaka swara from one note to even five to six notes. since the janma sthana for dhalu gamaka difer aprox. six places. All the keerthanas not only Thyagarajas one even if you compose a song also according to the karnatak way then there is some gamaka that gamaka will born from a note and slide to another place. since janma sthana for every keerthana must learn a perfect guide only. Either a proper book or a proper Guru only. Some says as janma sthana some says sing the gamaka from to down to up like this. When explain anything technically there are some terms used in the sangeetha sa'sthra.
all the best.

Natyacharya, thanks. Can you post a list of the titles of books and tapes ?
>>> Read my books Or Sangeetha rathnagara, KMM, listen more cassette, Listen Traditional singers performances,<<<
KMM has only 2-3 of the Bilahari's. I did not know that Sangita Ratnakara has Sri Tyagaraja kriti notations. Which 'Traditional' singer has sung SarasiruhaNayana and NeeVeganeNannu ?
What about the 20 or so Pantuvaralis of Sri Tyagaraja ? Do you have starting notes for these too ? Or can you make them up ?!? Thanks.
