hello vijay. It's kind of you to offer advice.
I love indian classical music, paricularly carnatic. I have no musical background. I intend to learn a musical instrument starting next jan and i live in the u.k. I seem to enjoy the sound of the tabla, mrudangam and the bansuri.
My question to you is how do i decide which instument to learn and how do i go about choosing a good teacher. My aim is to learn to understand indian music and to learn the instrument for personal pleasure.
