I suggest you to go to class for atleast 4 months, to get the idea of finger positions. After that you can learn by your own. Go to the below site. http://www.ecse.rpi.edu/Homepages/shivkuma/personal/music/index.html

Sarali
Jantai
thaattu
Melsthai
alankaram
geetham
swarajathis
varnam and
keerthis.
I am also learning violin (some keerthis) from internet.

Hello,
Is there any way we can teach our kid some of the simple bhajans on violin. Is there a site where we can get the notes for some of the bhajans or songs?? He is currently learning suzuki violin.
