these were the words used by Steve Waugh to Gibbs in the last world cup. Yesterday Stephen Fleming seemed to say the same to Mark Boucher. A lapse which proved too costly for SA when Boucher grassed a sitter when Fleming was on 53. |

yes, was suprised to c NZ beat SA big time, but I think the bad weather & reduced overs helped the kiwis!

Yes, WI are good team, but not as good as SA, WI would not cause big problems for sanath's team, but SA can bat all the way from no 1 to no 10, same thing can not be said about SL, that what worries me :((
BTW, have u seen the way these Indian fanatics behavious after India poor performance, these fanatics are such pathetic fools, firstly these hooligans take on the WI teams, by throwing stuff at them, when India lost badly to WI, in their recent tour to India, now these hooligans are burning pictures of Ganguly / Tendulkar.. how idiotic. visit the cricket section of www.bbc.co.uk, and u will c what I meant:(

I saw the match. Boucher dropped a sitter which he would have caught 99 out of 100 times. That is the game.Lankans will qualify now since it has 2 easy matches to get their confidence levels high.
today's match is abondoned so WI shares 2 points with Bangaladesh. This is good for SA.
Who knows,many more matches will be affected by rain in the coming days.
It reminds me of 1992 when many matches were affected by rain and India was affected.So as SA.
Even now I think 1992 was the best format with only test teams playing. All matches were important unlike now where we have 30 matches of lesser known teams which is not intresting at all.

yes, lankans had one easy opponent, that is Bangldesh, but the kiwis were not a bad openent, I think the Lankans big hurdle would be to beat SA, the lankans can beat SA or even the Aussies in their back yard, but not very good on different soil, what do you predict?
and can India beat Zimbabwe?, they shoud be able to.
any way, I wish for the lankan to beat SA, that should be enough to get them through the super six stage!

as said remaining two important matches r above. this will decide three teams for super six joping senior teams will win against minors and no disturbance from climate.

Keeping current form in mind,without any rain disturbances,SL will beat the windies but it will have a tough time aganist SA.Even if they lose to SA they are thro to super six. ANd if SA qualifies and WI drops out they can take only 4 points to SS. But I am sure SL will have a place in SEmis along with Aussies.The other two can be predicted on 2nd march.
India will beat Zims and Eng and namibhia. I expect pakis india and aus in SS.
Let us see.

I too hope so, I think SL,Ind(if they zim,pak and eng), Pakistan, aussies and the SA will go through to the super6, from there, I hope SL to win, if not India :-))

India did very well against Zimb,we await the Indian bowlers 2 the do the rest.
SL on the other hand won 3/3 matches, with 12 points in group B, the face Kenya/Wi/SA next,
how many more matches do they have to win to qulify for the super six?,one match?

One is ok but 2 is good because they can carry points to SS. South africais out of form I beleive. SL Has a chance to beat them too. log on to cricketworldcup.com. There are lot of analysis on teams.

what a match we saw yesterday.SL going down to Kenya. No one expexted that. But I think this was due to the fact that the middle order did not shine n the entire WC.Save for one knock from Sanath,other players hardly contributed. Bowlers did tremendous job till now. It is up to the batters now to win One of the next two to get into SS. Remember kenya plays bangladesh next and WI next whom they beat in 1996.

You see, again boucher was the man who was the culprit who did not run a sinsle of the last ball which was easy considering the match was in the 45th over. He played as per the sheet but nothing prevented him from running that one. So FOR SURE, BOUCHER SURELY DROPPED THE CUP.

Australian are not sportive. They don't deserve to hold the cup. If cup goes to their hand , then there is no God.
He could not bowl out Jayasurya but hurt him. Childish game from Australians.
Did u read the comments of pontying - Australian must learn some the game first.
He totally agreed that they have to throw at body and hurt players. First They have to learn some basics.
