Greetings.
It depends on what your son wants to go to college for. If it is one of the professional courses (Engineering, Medicine, Dentistry, Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Pharmacy etc.), he is up to a challenge.
For other Liberal Arts, Sciences and Business (called as Commerce in India) he has some excellent institutions to choose from in Mumbai. I went to Ruia college, but that was a while ago. Pls. feel free to contact me if you have any questions.

Thank yu for taking the time to reply.
My son seems to be leaning towards business right now andhe is only in the 9th grade.
I am happy to note that commerce there are some chances.
I do need your feedback on one more thing. i am not sure of if you have kids. We did indepth analysis and found out that the colleges in indaia does concentrate only on the main subject. ie eitheer in science or commerce,
but the 1st two years of college the kids learn basic liberal arts subject like social studies , philosphy etc.
my question is after the 12 grade , do you think the kids coming out of school will be college ready for india curriculam.? i do knwo the standards are high but even with AP courses i am
not sure the kids are prepared enough to tackle the college material.What are yur thoughts on that.
incidentally we are from matunga area , my hubby went to SIES OR SIWS ONE IS COLLEGE THE OTHREIS SCHOOL. HIS BROTHER WENT TO RUIA AND ALSO HIS COUSINS.

I want to study Music in Mumbai....But the thing is that I don't have studied it till now...and i don't have any skills and experience in this Field.
But I am very interested in Music and I want it to go further with academic certificate of Music.
I am now in Kathmandu ,of Nepal ,Yet,I have relatives there in Mumbai which ,I think will help....a lot.
