Classical/Old Salsa/Latin sounds like Guaguanco, Son, Guaracha, Cha-cha music styles are heavenly to listen and come with some wonderful themes and with good lyrics. But recently with the advent of pseudo-latins like Ricky Martin the whole music has been given a crappy love definition... I am searching for any tru salsa lovers

Los Indios.
There are many others, too.
Julio Iglesias, some pieces of Santana, to name a few.
My favourite bits are Amor, Amor! and Besame Mucho.
I enjoy most of Harry Bellafonte's Calypsos.
I'm crazy about Mambo, Cha Cha, and Tango. Favourite happens to be the Blue Tango.
I,m sure you would enjoy Banana Boat.

Ruben Blades - another salsa
Celia Cruz - The Queen of Salsa
For Tango I would list
Astor Piazzolla
Carlos Gardel.. a few
For Soft music.. try Inti Illimani y su orquestra
Quintus , the latest and the best Bueno Vista Social Club

gotz to include fania y gran combo......whose done more for salsa than them......in my humble opinion only
