Could anyone tell me where to buy PVG EXCEL wet grinder in USA or Canada? I hear very good things about it and it seems it is much more reasonably priced than other grinders in the market. |

I have bought Ultra 4 years ago at Akka conference in Houston from Andal. It is working fine till now. I think the stone has become smoth because it does not grind smoothly as before.What has to be done

PVG EXCEL wet grinder:
This product is excellant. I used Ultra grinder and I had a problem with it in a year. Also the grinding between the both grinders I feel PVG Excel wet grinder is the best. The design is so good that it is easy to use and clean. Where in with ultra the cleaning use to be tough. The bowl is heavy and the motor is heavy also when you grate the coconut we have to clean the plate, the scrapper and then when we grind it in the vessel we got to clean the vessel and the stones. In PVG Excel wet grinder once we scrape the cocnut you just have to remove the scrapper and just attach the stones to grind in the same bowl it is light weight and the cleaning is very very easy. It is EXCELLANT PRODUCT.

Dear Prabha,
The stones do not become smooth. From your comments, it looks like the belt may have been worn out. If you can give us your phone number, we can let you know how you can fix it. We have dealers in major cities or you can send it to our warehouse in Georgia.
If sometimes, the customers use the grinder as a blender, the belt will wear out prematurely. In a blender, you put the rice or dhal add water and then switch on the machine. When you use Ultra grinder, you have to add water only first, start the machine and then add rice or dhal after the stones pick up the speed.
