Hi,
Some of us are trying to compile a list of classical Literature of S Asian languages for which there are good English translations available.
There is a S Asian literature list:
SASIALIT@listserv.rice.edu
on which this information will be posted.
So if you know of nay good translations of tamil and other S Asian language literary works, please send me the info. or post it directly on this list. You do not have to limit your self to Tamilian literature.
Thanks,
Arun Sinha
