Shashti-aptha-puurththi=completion of the sixtieth year.
It is commonly known as 'aRubadhaam kalyaaNam' or 'aRubadhukkaRubathu'. Nowadays, they call it as 'MaNi vilzha'. MaNi is 'diamand jubillee' - a fairly new word.
Satha-abhishekam is now a ceremony done in celebration of having lived a span of 1000 moons, i.e., seen 1000 moons. 'Aayiram piRai kaNdavar' is what they call such a person. It coincides with the 80th year of life.
But literally speaking 'sathaabhishekam' might have stood for centenary celebrations.
