Kondrai - the Cassia in blooms

We have a poem named Kondrai vEnthan. Siva adorns his head with the kondrai - hence 'kondrai vEnthan' minnAr cenjadaimEl milir kondrai aninthavanE - ThevAram, Sundaramoorthy. I think the 'sarak kondrai' is commonly refered to as 'kondrai' - Cassia fistula L.
