How can you have someone being god to Thamizh, when Thamizh is and Thamizh can be God to them.

Kannadasan Vs Vairamuthu is something interesting. B'cos to me after Bharathiar " Thee kul Viralai vaithal nandhalala ninai theendum inbam thondrudhada nandhala" " thasaiyinai thee sudinum siva sakthiyai padum varam keten" " Nalladhor veenai seidhe athai nalam keda puludhiyil erivadhundo"
"Imaiye Theeum Podhum nee Kalangathiru"
" Manidhargal iruppathai marendhuvittan avan manathin manathai vangivittan"
" Irumali than indru suram pirithan"
" Sutrum Varai Bhoomi, Sudum varai Neruppu , Poradum Varai Manithan , Nee Manithan"

A poet has to have "Varnanai" over and above "Karpanai". Kannadasan's Song predominantly are "Varnanai" very few are "Karpanai" and if there were mediocre. Sollalvathil Kannadsan manan.

But he lacks karpanai. I clarify that when it comes to karpanai Kannadasan is next to Vairamuthu.
